[We work with One Call to offer you rides for your nonemergency medical needs. You can get a ride for visits to your:
- Provider
- Dental provider

There are no limits for how many rides you can use.]
When to ask for a ride
Ask for a ride as early as you can, and at least:
- Two business days before you need it for regular trips
Sometimes you may ask for a ride with less notice, like:
- Pick up after discharge from a hospital
- [Trips to the pharmacy to pick up medication or approved medical supplies
- Trips for urgent conditions (not emergencies but severe or painful enough to need treatment within 24 hours)]
Need to cancel your health care visit? You’ll want to let us know before the approved and scheduled trip.

- Name of your provider
- Date and time of your health care appointment

Have an urgent need? Or problems with the service?
[Just call One Call’s “Where’s my ride?” toll-free line at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. You can reach them [insert service hours here].]
Plan ahead for long-distance trips
[Do you need to travel more than 90 miles to see an in-network provider? These trips need to be for a medically necessary visit. They also need prior authorization (PA).
Be sure to set up this ride at least five business days before your health care visit. We may reimburse you for meals and lodging costs.
Are you setting up a ride outside the service area with an out-of-network provider? If yes, your doctor will need to get PA for that visit before you set up the ride. Just contact your care manager to learn more.]
