Want to play a more active role in your health care? Or help make progress in your community? There are many ways you can make a difference. On this page, you’ll find ways to get involved.
Member Advisory Committee (MAC)
Plan members, providers and representatives join to form the [MAC]. Together, we come up with ways to improve:
- Member medical care and our outreach plans
- Member materials
- Communication and care for members who speak a main language other than English
- Phone services for members
- Rides for members
Who can join MAC
We’re always looking for help finding better ways to do things. To join [MAC], you must be:
- At least 18 years of age
- A member for at least the last 90 days
- Able to attend meetings in person or by phone four times a year (you can get reimbursement for travel costs)
Getting started
It’s easy to join MAC.

Then, fill out the form and send it to the address on the form. You can also call us at ${member_services_phone}. We’re here for you ${member_services_hours}.

Just fill out the contact us form. Answer “Yes” to the question, “Are you an Aetna Better Health of Texas member?” Then, in the comments, note that you want to join the MAG. Or call the number on the back of your member ID card to tell us you’d like to join.
